| SIGHTSEEING TOUR to the Longyear viewpoint Walk to the nearest viewpoint up the mountainside on Sverdruphamaren. From an altitude of 400m above sea level there is a panoramic view of Longyearbyen, Adventdallen and part of Isfjord. Light trekking shoes are required. Grade of hike: SAC - T1 (Yellow), FjordNorway - Green/Easy Duration: 1.5-2 hours, 2,5 km 4+ persons - 210 nok/person 1-3 persons - 700 nok/group |
| HIKING TOUR to Sverdruphamaren or Platåberget Explore the close surroundings of Longyearbyen. We will go up to the viewpoint at Sverdruphamaren, from which you can see the valley and the fjord from a bird's eye view. Then we continue along the Platåberget plateau towards the famous Doomsday Vault, or go down to the Longyearelva river. Grade of hike: SAC - Т2 (White-red-white), FjordNorway - Blue/Medium Duration: 4-5 hours, 7-9 km 4+ persons - 500 nok/person 1-3 persons - 2100 nok/group |
